Brookings is in Brookings County, eastern South Dakota — not Brookings, Oregon. You are in the city. The county courthouse is civic downtown. Session and recording hours belong on county or city pages. This journal does not invent a counter time.
No merchant listing on this hub yet. Campus food halls are SDSU’s, not a LapDrop card. City: look up the City of Brookings, South Dakota, civic site when you need desks. South Dakota State University sits in this city; campus visits follow SDSU, not LapDrop.
I-29 is the highway spine. Buses and intercity coaches, if they stop here, keep their own tables. Do not mix this prairie county seat with the Oregon coast town of the same name.
