Benidorm with kids, or Benidorm after dark

You can do both in one week. You should not do both in the same street at the same hour.

With kids

Poniente for the beach. Parque de Elche and the promenade for pushchairs. Aqualandia and Mundomar sit on the Sierra Helada side if you want a paid day. A glass-bottom boat toward Benidorm Island is enough for smaller children. Foietes on Wednesday is a morning out that does not cost a park ticket.

Skip the Levante strip after 22:00 with little ones. It is not dangerous so much as pointless: loud, crowded, nowhere to sit that is not a bar.

After dark

Three scenes: the Levante strip and English Square for pubs and clubs; the old town for tapas and a slower drink; Benidorm Palace if you want a seat and a show. Summer nights in the old town squares are the easiest mix — walk, stall, ice cream, no cover charge.

If you live here, use the Benidorm 30s / 40s / 50s groups on LapDrop instead of wandering the strip hoping to meet someone. If you are on holiday, say so in What to Do. That is the whole point of the city page.
