Arenal on a Monday, when the market has packed up

Jávea’s Arenal is a different beach on Monday. The Sunday market is gone, the sand is raked, and you can hear the water.

The promenade is the full length. Start at the Parador end if you want fewer shops. Buses from Benidorm take the inland N332 and dump you near the bus station, not on the sand — 15 minutes on foot or a local taxi.

The Jávea hub is /javea-hub/. Montgó is a separate, steeper day. Do not mix the two with guests who asked for a stroll.
